A beautiful, cozy and special nature campsite with lots of low and high growing greenery. Camping de Ruimte is located in a quiet, wooded area along the border lakes. Leave all everyday stress behind and experience "Camping De Ruimte" . After a quiet night it is good to be awakened here by the cheerful bird chirping and in between you will experience "the sound of silence". Nothing, no "deafening city sounds".

Sanitary and other adaptations:
There are sufficient sanitary facilities at Camping De Ruimte . There are three spacious adapted shower/toilet units for people with disabilities. There are also a number of aids "in the house" such as a hoist, shower chair or spray bed. The sanitary facilities are heated. The other infrastructure here has also been made suitable for everyone in the most general sense! Most roads are asphalted and the campsite is car-free.

Recreation team:
During the various school holidays and "extended weekends", the recreation team of Camping de Ruimte organizes activities for everyone. Dancing, sports & games, bingo, fox hunt, talent show... everyone can participate in their own way. At Camping De Ruimte, no one really has to stand aside! And does someone not feel like joining the recreation team? No problem, there is plenty of play equipment all over the site to keep you from getting bored. The play pool is also very popular with young and old. Even with a wheelchair you can splash in the bath or at the water table. Whether the play pool is open also depends on the weather conditions.

Experience the surroundings of Camping de Ruimte . It is characterized on the one hand by peace, space and greenery and on the other hand by multiple and very varied activities. For small as well as for large. It is wonderful for walking and cycling. Surrounding places also offer a range of activities. In the area, Natuurmonumenten organizes all kinds of nature excursions and you can participate in city walks in Elburg or Kampen. At the reception you can get the necessary brochures, hiking maps and other flyer material.

The Randmeren and the IJsselmeer:
Water sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves at the Veluwemeer and for those who want to go further, also at the IJsselmeer. You will find quiet, clean sandy beaches with clear swimming and fishing water. Windsurfing, water skiing, sailing and many other 'wet' activities are all possible here.

The campsite has a solution for visitors to the region where camping De Ruimte is located and who do not have their own camping equipment. In the past, the campsite already had a number of "Tent bungalows" for rent, "Glamping / Safari tents" are now also available. All spacious and equipped with the most important conveniences.
