Good starting point for day trips to Schiermonnikoog, Borkum and the city of Groningen. The Groningen platterland has a lot to offer. Fishing and canoeing is possible. At the campsite you can enjoy Groningsche skies and quiet nights. The nature reserve Lauwersmeer is a short distance away.
