As soon as you enter the terrain you will discover that the "De Paalberg" is definitely not a standard campsite. Nowhere do you see straight streets lined with caravans in a row. A lot of attention is paid to preserve the forest-like character of the site as much as possible. In addition, the management of the park is such that every place has plenty of sun hours. "De Paalberg" has no neighbors. On all sides you walk from the grounds into the forest or the moorland of the Veluwe. Thousands of hectares are ready to be discovered. "De Paalberg" is a car-free and therefore a safe area for the children. There are two parking spaces, one at the front and one at the rear of the campsite, so you never have to walk far. Of course you can drive to the place with caravan or tent on arrival. If you have to transport baggage in between then special carts are available for this.
