The Delflandhoeve is a unique campsite. A beautiful, green oasis in an environment where you would not expect it. The campsite is bordered by the green Midden-Delfland at the Abtswoudse Bos. Delflandhoeve is a former cattle farm and has managed to preserve the typical farm atmosphere. In the room at the reception you sell your own honey or jams and fruit. But the campsite has more to offer than an average farm campsite. Delflandhoeve has an area of ??no less than 7 1/2 hectares. With varied vegetation of shrubs and trees, here and there even woody. The site is interspersed with ditches, an orchard, water features and scattered bushes. On this spacious surface, people have consciously opted for relatively few camping pitches. Moreover, the pitches are not delineated. This gives you plenty of room. You will always find a place that suits your preference: rustic, perhaps even romantic, with lots of privacy and surrounded by leafy trees and shrubs. Or sunny, right on the lake and on a more open lawn. The campsite deliberately chooses peace, space and nature. Very special, but also very authentic. It goes without saying that the campsite is car-free. An extra guarantee for rest! To protect the beautiful lawn, your caravan or motorhome should not be longer than 6 meters. The bathroom is of a good level. The sanitary building is easily accessible from various places and is heated on chilly days. The campsite rents out canoes (1 and 2 persons) and bicycles (on request, including tandems). The lake connects to canals in the area, so you can explore the area by canoe. Hiking is possible on the site of the campsite, for example around the lake. The area is also suitable for bike rides. Not in the last place to historic Delft (center at 5 km), but also for rural tours in the typical Dutch environment of the Green Heart. Back from a bike, scooter or walking tour you can then blow out on the terrace, which is open during the season. There you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea or a drink. Barbecues are allowed on the property. For renters, fire baskets are rented out and wood is supplied. The people of Delflandhoeve specialize in meeting the needs of rustic and romantic camping.
